I'm not really sure, but I think a reward for 760 days subscription should be usable by races that have tails should not have terrible clipping on the tail.





It looks pretty terrible, a reward from you, for us giving you cash shouldn't really clip that badly, either the tail should be switchable on/off, or a proper tail exit. On my lala, it looks awesome, got a tail? Out of luck, please fix your reward, thanks.

Waaaaay too many clothes have clipping issues like that with tails. But indeed, this is probably one of the worst ones. :/ And at the same time, way too few that at least try to cover it up with some sort of ornament or an actual hole for the tail at the appropriate spot. And while clipping in general is an "engine feature", that we have to accept and live with because it's not going to change... I do find that this particular issue (tails clipping) is just extremely lazy and disappointing - we have two races with tails now, and they make up quite a large number of the population. The fact that the devs themselves don't seem to care to cater to the anatomy of these races that they themselves gave us is really disheartening.

Aye, for ingame stuff where they want to make as much gear as quickly as possible to fill the dungeons with loot no one needs, clipping is acceptable, I don't see much point in development time being spent to make sure Armour Of The Divine Holy Hero Of The Northern Tree Hugging Collective has a tail exit. For specific glamour gear though, whose only point in being is for glamour, it needs to, ya know, not suck badly on 40% of the races.

According to the last census, 33/34% of players had a tail, of the top 3 races chosen, 2 and 3 were kitties, at the next census we may find that tailed players are in the majority (they were drawn with Hyur last time, total number), yet gear which is designed purely to look good, looks bloody awful if you have a tail.

Remind me to show you nearly every sword sheathed on my hip and nearly every shield holstered on my back.

Stuff in this game just clips, and frequently. Since it's likely never going to be fixed, it's better to just learn to tune it out than allow yourself to focus on it all the time.

I really was hoping that after getting a second tailed race that the gear would be more tunes for tails in mind.
Sadly, this hasn't been the case so far, even for new pieces that came out with 3.0.

It gets worse, the next tier of sub rewards...... is also gear. Expect that one to look terrible with tail too! Is there a model viewer anywhere like in XI where you can view what the gear looks like?

Maybe it's part of SE's cash shop bonanza principle, bring in gear which looks rubbish on the majority of the population (tailed beasts) so they splash the cash on Fantasia to make their glamour look good.

The worst part is wearing items designed to accommodate tails as a male Miqo'te and having your tail clip an inch to the left of the hole they left for it, because SE thinks no one cares about catboys.
