So what's with the 30 FPS toggle? Is that going to make it run better on low end machines or something?
They are both the same problem. Even if there were 1 million players, you still segregate based on GC and effectively divide the population due to extreme gear/loot rewards. It may still be easier to get a group granted but the segregation is still there. It is just worse in the current situation where we have less players.
Combined with the stats being rebalanced, these "elemental bomb" spells should be really strong. Of course they still need an animation change.

I lol at the mp/hp recovery change, because it is strangely similar to FFXI, cept no prayingMy favourite changes so far:
No more complaints from party members when I killed other targets by accident, hahaha!
Now, that just really hyped me! Casting spells in passive mode? Totally awesome!!!
I can't wait to try that! New use for old equipment!
I wanted to say my thanks to the devs who thought of that, really useful.
Much easier to target and less targeting confusion while in party, yay!
The change I am not happy with:
Seriously, why????
This is really lame, really!
The things I will definitely miss and remain nostalgic of:
Other, unrelated to the above:
Weren't accessories becoming like underwear, unbreakable?.
This entire update is pure gold.. but with one exception.
Why is so much stuff in Ul'dah still?
Move the Materia removing NPC to Grid or LL. We don't need any more reasons to go overcrowd Ul'dah.
BTW, did anyone catch the enemy size adjustment?? No more world-eating toads I'll wager
Also, I really like the HP/MP regen while standing still - its a worthwhile trade for casting in passive and it makes one value their MP a bit more.

The materia lore is around uldah, which is probably why they added it all there, but with airships it shouldnt matter too much once you have done the quests. This entire update is pure gold.. but with one exception.

Your waaaayyyyyy off, the toads will be 5x the size i bet, the garleans gave em all growth hormones because they dont wanna fight us.
I find this couter-productive to spreading people across Eorzia too. They just added another reason for EVERYONE regardless of who they follow to run to thanalan for something. Cmon now SE.... Other than that, THe patch is awesome. This entire update is pure gold.. but with one exception.

I wonder how the combat and stats changes will effect everyone tho. Will it make tanks into tanks and squishies into squishies finally?
