1.19 FTW! It's pure win! It reeks of awesomesauce! It's almost a whole different game with all these changes lol, an awesome one!
I can't wait for Oct. 4 now, I bet It'll take me a whole day just downloading the Patch :P

I'm absolutely blown away by the enormous size of the changes in this patch. It really will be like a whole new game in a lot of ways!

A new person starting the game is going to have a much better chance of understanding with the new tutorials, much needed addition, good for the health of the game.
To me, imo, 1.18+1.19 has truly been 'Golden'

My favourite changes so far:
No more complaints from party members when I killed other targets by accident, hahaha![dev1026] The system of claiming enemies has been overhauled.
Now, that just really hyped me! Casting spells in passive mode? Totally awesome!!![dev1032] The following actions are now executable while in passive mode:
All magic spells
Actions which can be used on self or other party members
I can't wait to try that! New use for old equipment![dev1017] The Materia System has been implemented.
I wanted to say my thanks to the devs who thought of that, really useful.Inventory UI enhancements (equipped icon, spiritbond icon, etc.)
Much easier to target and less targeting confusion while in party, yay![dev1176] The text command /battletarget (/bt) has been added which allows you to target the nearest enemy among those you are incurring enmity from.
The change I am not happy with:
Seriously, why????HP and MP will automatically recover only while the player is stationary, regardless of whether or not he/she is engaged in battle. The amount of HP and MP recovered will increase based on the amount of time a player remains stationary.
This is really lame, really!
The things I will definitely miss and remain nostalgic of:
Other, unrelated to the above:[dev1073] Physical level [...] has been abolished.
Weren't accessories becoming like underwear, unbreakable?* Patch 1.20 will see accessories made repairable by NPCs.
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
