where can i get server information that tells me how populated worlds are?

Balmung, Gilgamesh, Leviathan and Behemoth are very populated NA servers.

Correct me if I'm wrong or mention others though.

I'm pretty damn sure that there is not a single "dead" server out there.

OP is for example from Lamia. I have an alt on Lamia. There was no issue with empty towns, or anything.

No server is dead though. Some are just less populated than others. Famfrit used to be under populated but it blew up recently. Lamia when I was there for a few months was heavily populated.

SE doesn't publish that information, and unlike WoW there are no addons to facilitate a guess.

im not saying i want to go somewhere extremely populated but a bit more populated then where I'm at. well square should really start publishing that information so we could balance worlds out.

As you are a clear example of - publishing this information would have the EXACT opposite effect on server population.
People would mainly aim for the over-populated servers, the lower populated ones would then slowly indeed become dead.

I really don't understand what issue you can have on Lamia though...

why can't there just be one super big server for all na why do we need so many worlds in one data center?
