Hey guys, i'm back!.
So lately i had been getting kind of...bored?, of the graphics and color scheme of XIV. So i decided to try out Reshade+framework version 18.7
After spending hours customizing my reshade preset, which is still work in progress. I decided to go out and explore the beautiful world of eorzea and do a vanilla XIV to Reshade comparison!.
This comparison is mostly aimed at people that enjoy the game for what it is but are looking for something a little more..to their taste, and to show those people what you can do with a couple of hours and a small know how on file structures and config files.
I do hope people enjoy it, this took me upwards of 4 hours to get the screenshots i wanted.
I'd also like to note that these settings are my personal preference and not everybody will like it, i get that. So please refrain from flaming about the saturation or DoF because these are my own personal settings and it's how i enjoy playing my game, also the DoF is extremely tedious to tweak D: so...please look forward to it, hai!.
EDITED SOME SETTINGS AND UPLOADED MORE SS INFO ON SETTINGS BELOW
Added bloom properly and tweaked it to only show up under certain brightness conditions, SSAO, a more accurate SMAA, tweaked filmgrain, godrays, extremely slight lens flare with tweaks, and changed the DoF up, reduced saturation a bit in HDR and bokeh, thinking about adding a tonemap not sure.
I'd also like to add that i will be making a preset for users to download soon. However i still have a lot of things to fix and tweak so it might be a little while but it will happen

Just a couple of character screenshots with the hive greatsword which i will update within the next week!.

Later i will be posting instance screenshots, dungeons and character screenshots!. A little ways down i will do heavensward.
Enjoy!.
I thought i'd add in another screenshot that isn't mine but is also another reference as to what you can accomplish with reshade.
Please note that these settings are very heavily modified and. The bloom settings have been tweaked the most with a slight chroma tweak for the depth of field
Here is a preset that was linked by Assira and a link to presets for those interested in pre-existing reshade setups. Try to avoid older setups of sweetfx as it may not work as intended with the new updates unless you know what goes where!.
