i am considering transferring to a more populated world thanks

Well, it's a fair bet that those worlds that are regularly limited in terms of character creation, are also the more populated worlds.

someone told me there was a site that showed sever population so there is not one?

I've only ever heard of a site trying to scrape that data off character searches on the Lodestone. I'm not sure the data would be very high quality or accurate.
