Does anyone else think this was completely unnecessary to do and just plainly nerfs people who invest time crafting?
One of the reasons people take up to crafting is to have better gear than what they're given while levelling, so that their time actually means something. Not every one of us crafters does it for the endgame profit, we do it to help ourselves and others. With this new system, it makes gearing way too easy and I think there's no point in holding the hand of players who don't actually try to get better gear and end up getting BIS gear through main story.
Then level 60 comes and crafters still don't get the upper-hand when it comes to gear, because it's not even slightly competitive with Token/Primal gear (Not saying it should).
There are a lot of other things crafters can do, yes, but they're all for endgame content. I just wish being a crafter from 51 to 60 gave some sort of an advantage besides grinding for endgame.
TL;DR: We're basically pigeon-holed to being the makers of alt classes' gear with no chance of having any real impact on our main classes until we reach level cap.
