I mostly agree with the OP. Especially the me, me, ME(!!!1!1) part, let alone the childish way people love to respond.
I wonder why it's totally out of the question to respond in a nice way.

Also, it's more than sad that our generation has adapted this 'tl;dr' metality. I don't consider reading more than one line as mentally challenging. I find it rather insulting that a writer assumes I'm almost brain dead and therefore need a summary at the end. Same goes for quest markers.

on the topic of TL;DR.... I found it rather depressing and had me /facepalming when this happened... I was in my International politic's class and this dude was arguing with the teacher for like 30-45 min don't recall and during his long arguements he went as a rebuttal "well TL;DR blah blah blah" I literally facepalmed in class when he said that.

WoW-wise I remember content wise differently, but the 45+ minute queue times and the frequent disconnects to get put back in line. Omg those were the days.
