Fresh 60..Life After MSQ?

Good morning all. Thought I'd get you all's thoughts on a matter!

First, a bit of history: Last year when I finally got my main to 50, CT had been released for a bit, and ST came out within a month. So post MSQ was easy to get into. Just get geared up and go hit CT!

So skip forward to today. As of yesterday, I dinged 60, finished MSQs, unlocked and completed Neverreap and Fractural Continuum which unlocked Expert Roulette, unlocked Elite Hunts, and finished my NIN story quests. So my question is, now what? Do I just start grinding for Law Tomes? (Also, people keep telling me to save my Hunt seals for an upgrade, but don't tell me HOW to upgrade). Am I able to just jump right into Alexander Normal Mode, or do I need to gear up with Law first? At the time of this post, I'm iLevel 146 I believe.

Really loving HW and can't wait to experience all the post MSQ content and the content that is yet to come! Thanks everyone, any and all help is greatly appreciated!

If I remember correctly Alexander requires at least ilvl 170 to enter, but I could be wrong. The gear you buy with law tomes can be upgraded to i180 by a girl near the summon bell in Illshyder. You have to buy the material from the hunt master at the forgotten knight. Hope this helps some.

So basically as it stands now, there are 3 sets of "endgame" gear, correct? There's the Law gear, Esoteric gear, and the Alex gear (Normal). So as I've yet to get home from work and look up the new gear in game, I was curious what someone basically fresh from the MSQ should start to work on first? It seems Law is the obvious choice, given how much of it you can obtain fairly easily. After doing one High Roulette and one Low yesterday I was already able to purchase my Law weapon (which I assume was the right thing to purchase first >_<). So pretty much it's then grinding Esoteric and Law until I'm geared up enough for Alex Normal and the new EX Primals, correct? Just want to make sure I'm working in the right direction!
