[Science and video game] Looking for volonteers !

Hi. I enjoy gardening. I try to spend as much of my free time as possible in my garden. I ignore people when I'm busy working in my garden. This must mean I'm addicted to my garden. But since gardening isn't as "new" to the world as online gaming, no one would actually consider that I'm addicted to my garden. They'd simply see it as a hobby that I invest a lot of time in and greatly enjoy. Maybe even see me as eccentric, but not addicted.

People use to say that computer addiction was a widespread problem but I never hear anyone say that now that computers are used in workplaces/commonplace.

As you can see the addiction question sort of put me off, and I stopped answering there. Sorry and I wish you good luck!

Hi Elim, thank you for trying ! The questionnaire about our utilization of FFXIV speaks about game addiction like nicotine or alcoohol addiction. The question precisely is about how you feel about your gaming : do you feel withdrawal when you stop gaming ? when you can't gaming ?
Because I'm a FFXIV gamer, I'm deeply attached to not giving a worst picture of gamer population than the actual not-so-good picture.

That's due to perception on the matter of addictions Elim some can be extremely healthy while others can be not so and I've seen what bad addictions can do to people. My older brother and younger brother had addictions to pain pills and what happened with them and how they acted wasn't very pretty plus it's more from your point of view on it as opposed to how others perceive you. *shrugs*

Done and done. Should have set more time aside for the shape test ashamed as a graphic designer I couldn't do better on the rotations >.<. Oh well not like it's a "Failing grade" or anything...but I want mah numbers higher!

Agreed. I'm normally pretty good about those types of things, but I was rushing to get through with it before the time limit ran out. 32/40 isn't high enough for my liking. Also, while it's a bit irrelevant to me now, I would have had the option of viewing exactly which ones you got wrong and right on that portion of the test.....

I pressed back a few times and saw it. 38/40. YOUR TEST WAS WRONG IT HAD TO BE IT COULDN'T BE ME I'M PERFECT NOOOOOOOO

Oh lord, I did awful on the shape test...which is weird, as I'm a carpenter by trade. I just had such a hard time with the black and white 2-D images.

I did the survey and left a lot of comments at the end, including the following:

Also "If you got into bed at 11 PM, how tired would you be:" was one I wasn't really sure how to answer either... I would only be in bed at 11 if I'd had a very tiring day and thus I would be very tired, but typically I wouldn't be tired at all until much later, but then I wouldn't be getting into bed in the first place. I'm very confused. I went with when I usually get tired so said I wouldn't be tired but that may have completely been a mistake, I don't know. Opposite answers shouldn't be right for the same question.

Maybe someone here can clear that up for me? I'm still kinda stumped on how I should've handled that ._.
