This is content that was to come with Heavensward 3.0. It simply has been staggered in release in order to allow players to focus on things like story and job levelling before the content comes out. If it had been released on day 1 (like it normally would have been), then people would have had to really ignore the story so they could start capping tomes earlier and gathering data about the content.

SE simply wanted people to have a choice to just enjoy the story for a couple of weeks and not feel like they have to rush it through to meet weekly caps.

It's slower than it was during 2.0
Even a casual slow player like myself was able to get to 60, complete the Law gear, and even upgrade 4 of them to i180.
I watched all the cutscenes, did all sidequests, and still could technically tackle end-game content almost right upon release, if I wanted to? Sounds like perfect timing to me.

It is too slow. A lot of us are getting bored. Alex savage is out so that is nice but we will see just how much that actually counts for in a week.

No. This was already planned content for the release of HW. It was only staggered 2/4 weeks to prevent players rushing right to Savage Alexander. Yoshi wanted players to see and enjoy some of the game/story first.

I agree with you OP. Sure it was staggered with the 2/4 weeks thing but my god I just got to i170 with 3 pieces of upgraded gear about to so Alex NM and now I gotta grind times again..with a cap..

I'm assuming the soldiery converts into poetics which is a huge waste of my time if that's true and BS imo for those of us who don't need them.

Just when I thought I could relax andndo content, wham, grind more gear and its back to original pricing again so wooo what a waste. They did it perfect with LAW and now back to the same.old story.
