This is a valid opinion to have, but I do not share it. The time cost of making nine times as many HQ items is significant, to me. Also, unless you have a nice amount of seed money, the gil sink of having each item be worth 1/6th as much experience is pretty brutal. It literally sextuples the cost of leveling via leves.

But again, not everyone plays the same way, and this is a valid opinion to have. The vast majority of the time, new players will have far more leve allowances if they haven't been really using them yet (I know I didn't until after a month because there was so much else to do to level, like MSQ and sidequests and first-time dungeon runs), and new players generally aren't swimming in gil.

The exp difference between a courier and a triple is 20% (97,716 vs 117,261 at level 45). Six courier leves are worth the same exp as five triples. One way takes 6 items, the other takes 45.
