Request for Umbrellas

Every time it rains in the game my kitty gets soaking wet. I can put a hat on but then the hat gets wet. And no one likes a wet hat.

Umbrellas obviously exist in the lore, as there are beach umbrellas in the mist.

But what I would really love to see is -actual- umbrellas that we can use in the weapons slot. Each job/class could get a special coloured one. And when you take it out it would keep you dry when it rains.

Who's with me!

P.S. You could hit monsters with it! it would prob only do like 1dmg but still. Fight a dragon with an umbrella!

This might make a good novelty weapon for machinist. I don't know what the male combat idle pose is like, but the females combat idle pose is perfect for it.

Obviously have it closed while using it as a weapon, and open in the /cidle pose.

I'd be down with an umbrella gun. It sounds like something an evil genious would use to take over the world.

Yes. Just yes. Also, based on what you said, I'm fairly certain that females have the same cidle pose we men do......

Aside from that, I could see this being more of a minion item, such as a "Demon Umbrella". It would follow you around when you have it out, and if it starts raining, it automatically moves into position above your head. Either that or you can use the /poke or some such emote to move it into position above your head, since some people like to have shade from the sun as well.....

Instead of useless umbrellas, that would only be used like a weapon if used in the weapon slot (that would also maybe GLD only), why not raincoats that everyone can use?
