The fact is Alex is ridiculously easy, the only 1 which requires a little bit more teamwork is A4. Since day 1 I have seen A1 in pf no Sol, I mean come on really no Sol? Kill adds under laser, bring ok dps and kill both bosses within 10 seconds of each other, people really need to watch a 15min video to learn that?

I've actually had parties wipe more during A1 than A4. About a 50% wipe rate for A1 and only 25% wipe rate for A4 (personal experience). In both cases a single DPS can screw it up for you. So A1 is just as "hard" as A4 (I put that in quotes because none of Alex is hard if you know the mechanics).

A2 and A3 can be just as bad too if DPS don't know about the mech in A2 and the piston slimes in A3 (or the off tank doesn't know about splitting and swapping).

The point is, none of Alex is "hard" at all if you know the mechanics, and people should have the common courtesy to look them up before they attempt it rather than expect someone in the group to spoon feed it to them. And if they just go in blind and don't even ask, that's just plain rude. That's not to say most of us here saying this aren't willing to explain, just that it's a bit thoughtless.

These conversations are sterile, the main point is overlooked over and over and over again until something is done to prevent unjust kicking. Since this option has been introduced it has been but a pain, people that are not in agreement with a given situation should just go and not kick the one that are not like they would like him or her to be, kick option shoudl be removed from the game or, if kept, when there are complains of being kicked for no reasons, analized and sactions applied, until then, it is totally useless complaining, both sides have their right and wrong points.

You are angry you are right, in my opinion, but complaining here will not change anything, just move on and try again or, like I did for the Bahamut, stop doing Alex and do something else.

I have to agree with this post. I was recently kicked from A4 as well, unjustly.

I watched every video I could find, and read several guides before going in. I was by no means blind. But watching a video and actually immersing yourself in a raid are two different experiences, especially as melee DPS (DRG) who has to be up-close and personal with the boss, which happens to be enourmous, which makes positioning the camera to keep an eye on the party incredibly difficult.

I thought I was doing okay. My DPS was fine, I wasn't failing to any mechanics that I could see. No one said a word.

We wiped. No one said a word again.

We wiped again.

I got torn into for not knowing what I was doing. Before I could even ask what I'd done wrong, I was kicked.

How is that fair? How does that help? I was left feeling so defeated that I have yet to try again. I just want to play and practice and get better like everyone else. Everyone is new to the content at some point, FFS.

Perhaps instead of remaining silent yourself after the first wipe, you should have asked or at least started a conversation about why you wiped.

If it was actually your fault, and you didn't take the time to find out why you all wiped in the first place, then them kicking you wasn't unjust.

Were you A, B, or C? Did you let people know when vaced? Did you help with lasers/orbs or accidentally draw them on other people?
