Can't log in on square account pS4

My problem is with patch 3.05. I was able to log in after the update, until last night.

Yes, but the link you posted had to do with patch 2.25. I was able to login fine immediately after patch 3.05, but I haven't been able to since. I'm trying to see if doing a factory reset of my PS4 will do any good. I don't know what went wrong, but whatever error happened, it's been pretty catastrophic.

That might be a solution, since not every PS4 exp this prob. I just tried to turn on and off the machine many times and nothing happened.

Do you play with a wired or wireless connection?

Wired. And apparently SE support is not available during weekend, right?

Mkay, I'm wireless so it looks like the problem doesn't discriminate between the two. And no, I suppose they don't. =/

I made tickets to other problems be4. Their service is okay but the quality of the replies are really shitty. I doubt how they can find a job in that tech dept.

I just factory reset my PS4... Now downloading the game for the 5th time.. Lets see.

I didnot have much faith in this solution from the start... However, miracle happened. The login window appeared again and problem solved. Tried couple of times all worked. So here is what u should do:

1. Back up your savedata on either usb drive or PSN PLUS cloud

2. Factory reset your PS4.

3. When done, reinstall FF14.

Done.

I can confirm that factory resetting the PS4 solved the issue. There must have been some sort of glitch involving the PS4 and Heavensward updates. I'm waiting for my game to finish updating, but everything's back to normal for the main part. =D Good luck to you all, and have fun playing. o/
