I just encountered the problem and I am in Denmark. I have tried many different ways including deleting and reinstalling the game. However I am not good enough to do the port forwarding. But am I supposed to do that while obviously it is my internet provider's problem? Look forward to a solution. Am considering cancelling all my subscription for this game and afk...., if this issue last more than 3 days.
Yosment - This issue has been going on for 4 days for me and even longer for tsviet. Neither of us have had any luck fixing the issue so far. I'm tempted to change internet providers.

i did 2 simple tests. I used the iPhone 4G hotspot networks from both my iPhone and my partner's iPhone. They are both from different internet providers. Doesnt help. So I doubt changing internet provider will solve the issue.
just reinstalled it again. Problem exist.
And it is getting really annoying atm. All my buddies are lvling up during the weekend while I am locked out. No wonder FF14 has never reached the level of WOW. Will play WOW all weekend instead.
I joined less than a month ago and still in this free trial. Subscribed Half a year, but now changed my mind. Just canceled the €70 subscription. Apparently it didn't pass the trial period with my satisfaction.
One way they chose to do is pretend that never hear or see us. A counter action will be to post here whenever I have time until they hear and see me.
That was from patch 2.25, not patch 3.05 so it doesn't have any correlation to the problem that's going on right now. A bunch of my friends are able to log on just fine, so I'm not sure what the issue is. The best way to get into contact with Square is to talk to them via the support chat.
