Current +1 Gear....

Hello

Anybody know whats going to happen with any current +1 gear that you own or have equipped after the patch. Will it stay the same or change to nq?

My understanding is that they're going to be renamed Dated Equipment type.

So if it's an Iron Dagger +1, then it would be Dated Iron Dagger +1.

Okay, so the stats will stay the same only the name will change to that....which is weird by the way.

I thought that any item made after 1.19 and before 1.20 while they are being phased out will be renamed dated. Only if you use old recipes after the craft patch. Did I misunderstand?

The stats of the equipment crafted with the new recipes will have different stats than the "dated" ones.
I don't know if it means that your "dated" equipment will get worse and the "new" counterparts have the same stats or if the dated equipment stay the same and new ones get better.

But Weapons have a completely different stat anyways (Damage) and armor parts are also kind of different without the magic defense and the different role of element+.

+1 and +2 will beomce nq, +3 will become hq. It says so in patch notes.

but to answer the OP now


There is no current change to the items we have now, except that they will become "dated" gear.

dated gear will apperently not follow the new rules/sets of rules they have planned for the new stuff(such as the new hq system)
your dated gear will also probly be worse statwise in the end because of it.

Basicaly think of it like this.

You have a crab bow, it is going to become a dated crab bow

you make a new one post patch, it is a "crab bow" now, not a dated one

both crab bows may have different stats due to this.




i have a theory that you may not be able to hq any of the new gear past +1...and itl convert post 1.20 because of it and become the new "hq" gear, but we will see tuesday if that happens like that or not.
and my theory also pretty much states all old gear will remain old dated gear.
