You don't sound like you understand how threat works. DPS is the single largest factor in threat. I mean I can go hold threat without my tank stance up in any fight you want to name.

My point is that the game is built around not having str build. That they don't expect tanks dps to be that high and it is counteracted by abilities that have lower dps but higher hate generating ability. I would also beg to differ about dps being largest hate generating ability in the game over healing would like a word with you.
