Could we uhh, reverse Dissipation and Emergency Tactics effects?

    New Effects

    Emergency Tactics:
Transforms and adds the Next "HP Recovery" Portion of Adloquium or Succor into the Galvanize Effect.

    Dissipation
Summons whichever fairy you don't currently have summoned IN ADDITION to the one currently out. This fairy heals at 20% reduced efficiency, and lasts 30 seconds.

Bam! Both of them are now WAY more useful in a much wider range of scenarios than the situational uses they have now. You could feasibly use this new emergency tactics in any scenario where the tank was going to take a big hit, it synergizes with other healers amazingly well and it expands upon the scholar class dynamics as opposed to making it more like a white mage.

Then the new Disposition would essentially equal the burst of raid healing you needed anyway, but without costing you a swiftcast and 2k mana at the end of the spell to resummon the fairy.

Man I wouldn't have swapped mains to astro if scholars got these spells. I was so underwhelmed with the new scholar abilities as a whole. I never use emergency tactics almost at all and I only use dissipation if I need more aetherflow...your versions of the abilities sound way more fun.

I think you might mean 'invert' but it's too late at night for me to grammar.

While I like your idea for Emergency Tactics, I think it miiiight be a bit too strong when combined with Dispersion Tactics.
The extra fairy, even with -20% healing, would probably ludicrously overshadow the other healing class' maximum healing potential.

I do agree that the cost of Dissipation severely outweighs the (actually pretty strong) benefits, though.

Edit: The even bigger issue is that, judging by the fact that having more inventory space or separating Au Ra faces and horns would completely destroy the game, FFXIV simply cannot handle you having two faeries out.
