    Chocobo Color Help!

I'm looking for help to get my Chocobo to Peacock Blue. He seems to want to be Othard Blue. I used this site: http://ffxivchocobo.com/en
This is the path I went, starting from Gobbiebag Brown (what he was when I started).

    Gobbiebag Brown > Peacock should be : 6 × Xelphatol Apple, 13 × Mamook Pear, 19 × O'Ghomoro Berries

    It gave me Lavender Purple.
    Lavender > Peacock should be: 6 × Xelphatol Apple, 10 × O'Ghomoro Berries, 12 × Mamook Pear.

    It gave me Turquoise Green.
    Turquoise > Peacock should be: 1 × Valfruit, 1 × Doman Plum, 2 × O'Ghomoro Berries

    It gave me Othard Blue.
    Othard > Peacock should be: 1 × Valfruit, 2 × Doman Plum, 3 × Cieldalaes Pineapple

It gave me Turquoise Green. Again.
So I tried 1 × Valfruit, 2 × Doman Plum. I am back to Othard Blue.

Please, any ideas? Thanks. I have tried alternating fruits. Does the order you feed the fruit make a difference?

Like it says on that website, Choco Colouring isnt exact. It has some RNG involved.

Just have to keep trying what it says to feed it. You'll eventually get Peacock.

Order doesn't matter, but as the website suggests you should alternate fruits when you feed them.

It seems to me just looking at it you bounce between Turquoise Green and Othard, one way you ended up with too much Green and other way you ended up with too much Blue and not enough Green. Its cause of the RNG of how much RGB value you get when you feed a fruit. So yeah just keep trying and you'll evetually land on what you want I expect.

I know it sounds an hassle but the closer you get to the color the harder it gets because a little RNG can easily put you to the next color range.

So if you can get what you want in reasonable tries I suggest you give it a lemon to reset its colours and restart.

I'll have to agree with Miste and say you got RNG'd. Starting over might not be a bad idea. To use myself an example, I managed to get Soot Black in two tries while someone in my FC said he couldn't get it after six tries, my brother wanted Ice Blue and got it on his first try, etc.

I'm pretty sure there's no RNG involved in coloring, and people attribute to RNG factors like uncertainty of the real color ranges and the current values of the chocobo. Also, order DOES matter on some situations. If you reach the max or min of a color and you keep using the same fruit it'll mess up the final values and you'll end up with a different color than desired.

Now, from Othard to Peacock my recommendation is:

    1 Valfruit -> 3 Pineapples -> 2 plums
