My tolerance of newbs who refuse to listen to you is 0.
My tolerance for honest mistakes from newbs who listen is over 9000.
This. For Characters who know their Class and are just "shy" if you get me i have aaaaaaall day. For sorry....Idiots i dont waste any second. i votekick em instantly.
Would have him reported for Harassment. Because it is Harassment.Doing a dungeon for one of my animus book, last boss...have him down to about 20% ...i'm at like 50% hp (tank) ...healer suddenly stops healing me...boss at like 6% and i die (zero heals) ..they LB boss and he dies...i obviously don't get the credit for killing the boss and the healer says 'looks like you'll have to rerun, have fun'
Sorry but the Tank is not your Slave. If he doesnt wants to do a Full Run, because Reasons, you have to Deal with it. And he doesnt wastes your time, you can quicker requeue looking for another Tank who has the Time for your Full Run.

Yeah, how stupid to expect a tank to actually act like he's part of a group and not just a self-important tool, huh? Please learn how capitalization works, also.
Here's the extent of my tolerance...

It depends on the day for me. My tolerance level, on most days, is moderate to high. But on certain days, or when certain... things... happen, my tolerance level goes dooooowwwwwn. At its worst, I'll speak up in a not-so-nice way and get really confrontational. Thankfully, that only happens once in a blue moon, or almost never.
If we're talking about the peeves which break our tolerance like a twig, I'd have to say that one of my number one peeves are, in a duty run, the party initiating a vote to kick someone for the wrong reason, or simply because the vote initiator is pissy. I will ALWAYS get confrontational over that one.
EDIT: Example: I was in a Library run the other day, just a-healing it up as usual, when, at the last boss, we wipe. The wipe is my fault, because I misadventured my way into an AoE and DIED. Simple as that.
Well.
The leader tries to kick the bard. Why? "DPS too low." But the vote happened after the wipe, and if anybody should've been getting kicked, it was me. I know that sounds weird, but bear with me. The boss was at about 5% when we died. The Bard, possibly taking offense, says, "I have to leave anyway," and leaves on her own.
I proceed to chew out the person who initiated the vote. Eventually another DPS joins and we finish, no quicker than we would have originally, because I died the first time.
EDIT 2: I was pissed about the initiator trying to kick the bard because it was the bard's first time through the Library. I just wanted to help somebody advance their MSQ, but SOMEBODY in the group had to be a jack-a-bitch.

I think there'd have eventually been a kick. No sense in wiping over and over to the same person blatantly ignoring fight mechanics.

I used to have a high tolerance for new people. Then when world of darkness became a game of how many times can you wipe within one boss, it quickly declined. Just today for instance a ninja decided we should take a conversation to whisper....in a dungeon....when the conversation was about the tank learning flash to help him keep aggro. The monk in my party kept pulling aggro because the tank couldn't hold it. It was awful. The worst part is the ninja who got snappy with us and told us to stroke ourselves elsewhere doesn't even have whm to 50, but has conjurer? It's been a long day..

As a healer, I have little tolerance for hot-dogging, meathead tanks who take off in sub-50 dungeons thinking they're Superman, Leeroying their way past enemies, and thinking I'm going to heal them through 15-20 monsters (all of you clowns in Dzemael Darkhold know who you are). I have even less tolerance for tanks who run off at the mouth after they get people killed with this nonsense.

But its pretty easy to heal a full pull of Dzemael Darkhold first room? A decent tank wont even dip below 50% hp most of the time assuming you esuna the vulnerability debuff. Unless someone is vastly under-geared that pull is text book and is one of the few times you actually get a reasonable amount of damage come in at low levels.
I've healed it multiple times with multiple different tanks and as both WHM and SCH.
If they did something somewhere else I would agree the tank was in the wrong but I would try and heal through it anyway as you will run into it later and I'd rather have the practice.
If they die they die so long as they don't try the exact same pull again its no biggie, tried something it didn't work you learn from it. The amount of times I've seen tanks do a big pull and die due to too much damage and then immediately quit however outweigh the times I've seen healers not even attempt to heal a big pull.
But I'm not trying to tell you how to play and can understand how it could be a annoyance.
But I think its pretty standard practice at this point.
