Guys, whats your tolerance level?

A week ago I decided to level a WAR(because Eorzea needs Tanks!) on a friend's server.
So I rolled a new alt character ($18.00 $€? Hahahaha good one!). I already have tons of experience healing(SCH 4 life) and dpsing, so I decided to give Tankery a shot.

Yesterday I DF'd into Stone Vigil.
Get a MCH, a SMN and a WHM.
New player alert.
I ask, "Who's new?"
WHM says(not party chat) I.
SMN is also fresh(only 2 runs under belt).
"WHM regen me, don't pull adds"

We charge in; no regen, I Overpower, we wipe.
On first group of mobs! Cure IIs were only 800.

"Sigh, SMN please Titan, and grab 1 mob to split damage"
SMN plays ball rest of run, but we wipe at least once more. (I'm constantly Convealencing, Foresighting, BBing and Second Winding CDs to make up for soft heals)
We inch worm all the way to Chudo Yudo.
I tell party to hold. I carefully explain the concept of unmarked AoEs.
"Healer, Focus target on CY, watch for swinge, stay by his side AT ALL TIMES!"
"Keep Regen on me every 30 secs plz, also Ensuna the burns plz"

The fight starts. No Ensuna's, no Regens, just a stream of Cure I's and Cure II's. In front of dragon.
We wipe.(because of course we did) Reset, next time, I go,"I wasn't kidding, when I said don't stand in front of dragon, please keep regen up, and stop spamming weaksauce CureI's." This time, SMN was on ball, MCH has been on ball(he's always been last to die), WHM gets swinged twice and SMN tries to physick but can't sustain mp. We wipe.

This continues for EIGHT MOTHER OF GOD D- WHAT THE H- TIMES!
Everytime I re-explain the mechanics and tell healer how to not F-up(hint: stay away from swinge-ing side of dragon)
I stay out of respect for the trooper SMN(was QC rez on dead healer), the MCH makes some BS up and RQs.
Poor SMN asks if MCH had something to do. I explain what a rage quit is.

Eventually healer quits, a real healer joins, and we slam dunk rest of run, with only 30 seconds left to spare on clock.

If they try to learn I have a very high tolerance level.
If they REFUSE to learn, then im all raging in FC until I finally rage quit. (Ive only rage quit once in my life)

I have a funny store where a player refused to learn.

Okay sure I can help out!
When I join I see a lot of familiar names, my server is so small so you recognise the names if you've are doing EX trials, since you mostly end up farming with the same people.

Full group, we assume everyone knows what to do so we just buff up and start.
The party leader was a healer btw. So we all stack behind titan, except the healer who runs around everywhere making plumes a little more annoying to dodge.
We ask him what he's doing
"I'm always doing this in titan hm?"
He also dies 3 times before heart phase.

Tank accidentally falls down and we wipe and restart.

Healer does the exact same thing. Making dodging inconvenient, dying all the time.
So I'm asking myself if he doesn't even learn mechanics before heart phase, how is he ever gonna survive after the heartphase.

So he died when titan was at like 80%, fell down so had no chance to raise him.

The rest of the group gets him to 15%, we have full LB, and at the same time we are arguing with him about starting a kill group in party finder if he doesnt even know strat.
That he just wanted a free clear.
So at 15% we all decided to jump of platform and leave.

Thats for refusing to learn!

Pretty low. If it's a case of not understanding, that's one thing. If it's a case of flat-out ignoring instructions (or doing the complete opposite) my patience ends up giving out. You lasted far longer than I would have.

I leveled a BlackMage to lvl 51 think that beats your tolerance nssixn6 :P BLM worst class ever, in a game that requires you to move within half the aoe's timer.. then randomly interupts your spells for no reason at all, nothing hit me, or died near me and interupt can't cast for 30sec for somereason oh then! If something dies near me I get interupted, if a monster does an aoe but I'm no where near it I get interupted. like seriously BLM delete this class and redo it with something that can actually cast a spell. > Grrrr frustrating! When it doesn't get interupted though the class is good. Good luck with that though.

But yeah, sometimes players just...WILL NOT get something no matter how many times or how nicely it's explained. Friend had an Ifrit story mode run that I had the pleasure of watching in his room. He was a ninja doing a low lvl roulette. Their Gladiator wouldn't use Savage Blade, their Conjurer wouldn't dodge a single Eruption, and their Thaumaturge wouldn't target the Nail. They wiped five or six times before my friend just threw up his hands and bailed.

I seriously don't know how these kinds of things happen.

As I was leveling AST I had a story Ifrit run with a bot tank.

He died.

I proceeded to tank. As the healer.

He tickles. Told DPS to get the nail and we won. No issues.

As a ACN, if tank sux/rage quit, I pull out Topy, If healer eats dirt I QC rez.
As a SMN, if tank quits, Summon Titan and just sustain and target pet attacks.
AS a SCH, if tank quits, I aggro enemies and self galvanize, Eos Fey Illumination + Whisper

Would have left long ago, in a dung more than 3 wipes on a boss is too many. I am not insane (doing the same thing and expecting different results). I have a little more on primal runs like 5 wipes tops (and only if i see progress). Glad you have the patience I do not and would rather pet my cat more then waste my time on someone who does not want to learn to play.
