I would but it's the only way I can play. The router/modem is in another room (It's a cable modem/wireless router) and there is no way to plug an ethernet cable into this computer from where it is. Would something like a wireless repeater help strengthen the signal or some such?
There's signal boosters you can buy and such but it's never going to be as stable as a wired connection, if you're using a USB adapter instead of an actual PCi wireless network card I'm going to assume....laptop?I would but it's the only way I can play. Cause there's some really good wireless cards out there if you're willing to spend the money for them, but they're designed for desktops, but the speeds and stability they offer will give you a bigger improvement. Here's an example http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833320074
On the whole wireless is just awful for gaming, stuff like regular console games that use a small amount of ping are fine most of the time, but MMOs send a LOT of data back and forth which is why you're seeing those disconnects.
I can't guarantee this'll solve your problem, but I do know USB adapters are even worse than using wireless for gaming to begin with.
Maybe look into a longer cable? Sounds stupid I know but they make some really really long cables.

i actually am on a desktop which makes the situation even sadder. It's a good machine, just didn't come with a wireless network card. I'll give those solutions a shot. Thanks for the help, it's been really...help, ful.
