Any new PvP gears?

I heard that new Frontline map is coming. any news about new PvP gears?

I love my weapons with bloody aura. they're so unique and rare. you can see hundreds of ppl with FCoB weapons but only 5-10 ppl on the server with the same weapon I have. That's the best rewards for doing PvP and I hope they continue making cool gears for us.

and please make the ADS mount (or whatever it is) flyable.

In terms of gear, there will definitely be new gear in 2 weeks. They released pictures of the new Mch/Drk/Ast gear awhile back with unique chest pieces, but the i110 gear they released with heavensward was just a re-skinned version of paladin, bard, and whm (the helms were unique though). I believe they'll release the version they showed in the concept art with the next patch and probably up the pvp rank to at least 50.

They already said that they're going to make the ADS fly but not when.

3.1 was said to be the patch to give old mounts flying, those mounts being Ahriman, Bomb Palaquin and the Primal Ponies minus Odin's horsey. ADS was included into this list later on after it was confirmed to be able to fly. It was not mentioned whether if it's with the others, but I'd really hope it would be included with the rest in 3.1.

Uhm, the Griffin, Dragon and Behemoth sets were never announced with associated classes. They are most likely role related: Behemoth:Tank, Dragon:DoW, and Griffin:Caster.

I hope the gears being role related isnt the case. Perhaps they could make the new animal gear look more like the mythical japanese version of all the animals.

What makes you say they are most likely role related? Any kind of speculation at this point is kind of pointless as they've released nothing but concept arts for them.
Anyhoo, I don't see them deviating from the one gear set for one class type of system they've had for the higher ranked PvP gears.

The only thing that we know is that when they announced them they said things like "ah, this is the caster set", without really being specific.

I don't think we're going to get role-related sets unless they give us waaay more ranks.

Is PvP officially dead? Kind of amazing they released an expansion and not one thing added to pvp.. I Know theres an update coming but still, talk about a giant after-thought to content. Just discouraging, but hopefully new gear is on the horizon, even though I still enjoy all the old animal gear!
