queue help

New to the forums, first post, sorry if this has been asked or answered elsewhere--had difficulty finding much definitive in my searches.

In the past I've had plenty of luck with getting into Wolves' Den; just got my first 50 character (I know, total noob) and have been eager to play Frontlines but so far I've managed to get in once on my first try and ever since have given up queueing after waiting for upwards of two hours each time.

Any tips and tricks for actually getting in? I really wanna play (or perhaps more accurately die routinely at the hands of far more experienced players)!

Should I try at certain times (in a queue right now on a Friday night--which I would've thought would be prime time--been waiting for over an hour already)? Will I be more successful if I manage to queue with a group? If that's the case, does anyone know of any linkshells on Balmung I might seek out?

So I just read the zillion other posts complaining about queue times, sorry to add to the whining. I guess it's just mainly due to the expansion, which makes sense.

Any tips and tricks of the trade, such as they may be, would still be appreciated.

Honestly, the best advice right now is just to wait for patch 3.1. The new PVP mode that's being released should revitalize the PVP community. At the least, the queues for the new mode should be good. Hopefully the other modes queue times will be improved as well, since people will probably be farming the Frontline Roulette for Wolf Marks.
