A lot of people are down on Clemency in this thread.

As someone who mained WHM for all of 2.x and switched to tank for the expansion, I feel that Clemency is one of the best skills in the game. Jesus, the amount of lives I've saved with it as the tank is unreal. And let's not even talk about all the DF groups wherein the healer died on a boss and it'd have been a wipe if I were any other tank class.

I love clemency too. Somehow last night a whm ran out of mp, I took over healing during the fight, spamming riot blade, until the whm had recovered. It was great.

Just a genera tip for plds, use it to help your healers out. They may not NEED it but it's appreciated. Dps takes a hit and healer is busy topping you off, heal the dps. Party wide aoe begins charaging, precast clemency on someone or yourself. It's basically the only thing a pld's mp is useful for right now so use it.
