Ishgard Housing Transfer System Unfair

My best guess is the transfer system will allow current house owners to buy a house in Ishgard, but doing so will demolish their current house. All their stuff in said house will be dumped onto the resident caretaker. Essentially, I'm seeing it like if you allowed the 45 days to lapse. I'd hope they tweak it so you don't lose certain items which cannot be stored though.

The point of a transfer system is mainly to move FC houses without losing Airship progress and FC rooms. What you're saying completely defeats that purpose and if that's what they are going to do, they might as well not do it at all.

Not even sure why people think that Ishgard will have its own housing this late into the expansion.

Just saying, it's more likely that this is it and the next housing to look forward to is 4.0 housing elsewhere.

If they have staff to develop 4.0 housing content then they have staff to develop Ishgard housing content. They've always said Ishgard housing will have to wait for the war to end and it just ended in 3.3. If not for apartments and the move feature that's what we would have in 3.4.

We know nothing about 4.0 and they don't need housing to sell it. Even if we're supposed to get 4.x housing there's no reason to think they need to release it at 4.0. 4.x housing can also be a near end of expansion kind of thing. If we get Ishgard housing in 3.5 we can get new housing zones in 4.5 as well. It's not bad to leave some stuff nearer to the end of an expansion cycle especially if it's not playable content and mostly cosmetic.

My question is if we're even still getting Ishgardian Housing plots. I haven't seen them mentioned in interviews or Live letters for near a year now. The last time I read something specific to ishgard housing as actual Ishgard wards was in Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXIV. After that Live letter, the topics on housing have been about the apartments. The last mention about transfers was this

They mention the apartments and moving feature but not additional wards being put into Ishgard.

I know, which is why they may tweak it a bit so people keep their progress. I just don't see them making an elaborate system since after one day, it'll be useless.
