Ishgard Housing Transfer System Unfair

There is no reason to have a transfer system, the people who already have a house will more than likely have enough money to buy stuff again and lets be honest we need to have these players spend to level out the market playing field.

I've never gotten a house myself and been sitting on my gil for so long now I'm at 30 million just doing PvE.

I think you should withhold judgement. There's no indication that you don't have to buy the plot you're transferring to, in which case the advantage goes to whoever gets to the plot with the gil first, as it has always been. The transfer system is more like a moving company to save you the headache of hauling your furniture and setting it all up like it was.

I think the whole idea of "I want this and they can't have it" is silly. There shouldn't be a lockout for people who have a house, or a lockout for people who don't have a house, or a lockout for anyone. First dibs on whoever buys the plot first regardless of what they have or want.

Houses are not just for vanity, they're not just for gil, they're a piece of exclusive content that (appears, at least from forums) people heavily dislike being exclusive.

Besides that being there does not directly equate to value of having it, I love my 1.0 Dalamud horn even though I never wear it. I love collecting gear even though I glamour as much as I love hunting S and A marks (pretty much not at all).

Uhh... I got my house closer to a Marketboard and bell than the Aetherythe at Limsa Lominsa is for extremely speedy access to both, I have 3 differet types of useful vendor NPC's closeby plus a Mender, and gardening has made me millions more gil back than buying the house even cost.

well for the crafter stuff you can do anything to bleed the others dry. doesnt needs a house you know. fact is housing is a unimportant fluff system. why wasting ressources on it. no matter how many plots they open up you wont stop crying. they should remove the housing system altogether for something other.

News update: Games are a "unimportant fluff system" unless you are involved in the professional side of it and make a living from it.
