Servers went up on Tuesday morning like 5-6 AM Eastern Time. By the time people got out of school/work around 3-6 PM Eastern every small plot was sold on Excalibur.
the only people who could buy small plots were people that lived in other time zones, don't have school/work or woke up seriously early just to log in and get a plot. that's pretty ridiculous. i was fortunate enough to get one, but i know plenty of people who weren't.
also my FC would love to move from a Medium plot to a Large plot without losing our Airship Ranks, dozens of personal rooms and millions in member furnishings that can't be recovered. doesn't even have to be Ishgard housing,
Sorry, but things arent always "fair." However, if someone wants to get up early to get an edge, don't cry cause you didn't do the same.Servers went up on Tuesday morning like 5-6 AM Eastern Time. They NEED to make a Hinterlands ward with Sharlayan architecture. I want so bad. T.TThat's a thought actually, add two housing areas, one for Foundation and one for Pillars.
60 houses in 8 wards is 480 houses. If they were to add two areas that would create 960 new plots. A drop in the bucket, but definitely a good touch assuming they don't let people own more than one house.

I rather like the transfer idea.
I hope that people transferring don't have to rebuy the plot+transfer fee as some suggest because then what would be the point?

The point is that the FC has an alternative to destroying their old house with all FC member personal rooms, workshop progress, and airships lost in the move. Forcing them to buy the plot requires them to put forth the same effort as anyone that wants a new or better location, which is fair. Requiring the FC to ALSO destroy 60 million gil worth of personal rooms AND all irremovable furnishings, as well as losing their max rank airships (parts can be transfered, not airship rank) is just brutal, hence the need to add transfers.

You seem to misunderstand. I agree with the idea of a transfer. The point is that the FC has an alternative to destroying their old house with all FC member personal rooms, workshop progress, and airships lost in the move. However, I disagree with the idea that players(and FCs) who transfer should have to pay for a new plot+transfer fee.
Previous owners already put forth that same effort as a new person(or FC) buying a house, granted they did it earlier than Ishgardian housing. That is the only difference between the two groups.
Does the FC Leader have the ability to own personal and FC house? Does it affect FC members also?
