Vertical Hotbar Help

Is there a way to remove skills/actions from your vertical Hotbar? There is no lock option for them and every time I right click on them it does nothing. I have 5 of my cooldowns on a vertical Hotbar so I can see when the cool down is finished, and I want to keep it at 5, but since I'm a lvl 54 WHM I'll be doing new job quests which in turn means that any new skill I learn for my whm class will be added to the Hotbar. I'm wondering if there's a way to remove the said skill or if there's a way to prevent new skills from going on the Hotbar. I just started using the V hotbar and like how useful it can be at times.

The lock option applies to all hotbars at once so if you set that to unlock you can then remove any skill from any hotbar as you usually would.

Make sure your hotbar is unlocked. As mentioned above, there is one lock for every hotbar regardless if it is horizontal or vertical. Once the hotbar is unlocked, hold left-click and drag the skill away from the hotbars and release the mouse button. This will remove the skill from the hotbars altogether. Once everything is as you want it to be again, simply reactivate the hotbar lock.
