A Developer, can you please help us understand your mindset/protocol in responding to particular threads over others?
226 upvotes, do we need to hit 700?
Commenting until the queue parameters are adjusted and the restriction removed~
It is bad but I admit the other issue I feel bad for is the PvPers who actually enjoy it, I say this because of the esoteric awarded you may get more people in but a good majority of those people (myself included) just don't care about PvP, we die we say "meh" tab out for a bit while waiting at the spawn or just kinda run around and look busy to avoid being kicked.
Am I the only one who has some sort of pride in my GC? I could not care less about queuing in with FC mates, unless of course they are Immortal Flames!
It's actually a fun aspect to me, as you never know who you are gonna get but you do know they are fellow flames. While you guys are crying about not being able to queue in with your FC mates/friends the rest of us are in there duking it out with our fellow Grand Company members taking down some sneaky snakes and those dirty pirates
I would honestly lose interest in PvP if there were no GC restrictions as they amount of pre-mades would skyrocket. Teams with voice chat and strategy outside of the parameters of the game. They are bad enough when you encounter them as it becomes nigh unwinnable once they get going.
These kind of people are the worst, just running around pretending to do things so they don't get kicked, just so they can soak in free tomes from the rest of our efforts.

Isn't that what large scale PvP is about? strategy?
I know I sound like I am shooting myself in the foot by saying it but yeah, free tomes for no work. If they remove the esos from front-lines I guarantee you see a boost of more serious people joining in. Now don't take it the wrong way I will play but my first death (being a healer and usually the only one in my groups am first targeted) I just don't care much after that xD
You're shooting ME in the foot. I enjoy the rewards despite not being a heavy pvper, but if there is a trend of lots of people going afk for rewards in pvp, they might just stop putting those rewards in.I know I sound like I am shooting myself in the foot by saying it but yeah, free tomes for no work. If you are putting yourself into duty finder content with other people, there is no excuse for not actively playing the game. It's just dragging down the people you were paired up with.
Yeah you sound like one of those people that take abilities off their hotbar because they CBF and because "it doesn't do much".I know I sound like I am shooting myself in the foot by saying it but yeah, free tomes for no work. Do it, SE.
