Steps:
1. Logged 1000 ice shards, from 4 trees, from one to another, read in guides, no results (1000/4 = 250 trees)

Each "Mature Tree" node you harvest starts with 4 hits. You gain more hits later as you level up, but the starting HP for the tree is 4 hits. This means that each tree contains 4 potential harvests towards the trophy. Harvesting a single tree successfully is 4/1,000 and not 1,000 individual trees. In order for your harvest to count, you must successfully obtain an item from the strike.
