The Mentor System

I've heard this being talked about in some threads pre-3.0. I never expected it with the launch of HW, but I'd be curious to hear if anyone has heard anything else about this supposed Mentor System.

For the harder boss fights, it would be great to have for those of us who learn by actually doing the fight but don't want to cause entire parties to wipe. Even learning parties will disband after 2-3 fights because "X keeps standing in AOE" or whatever. I just want to be able to learn the fight mechanics for my class without worrying about getting together 7 other people who know their roles and hope they don't ragequit. A mentor system like this would give us much needed practice and a whole lot less drama.

It could even be a holographic system made by Ironworks using Allagen technology to fit into the lore...somehow.

Everyone learns best by doing. But the only place to do it is in the raid. I think thats fine, especially since the process of wiping and learning is part of the game.

Find an FC or friendly Linkshell, do the content with them.
Hell, just today i did Bismark EX on my Bard with one of my Linkshells, we spent nearly two hours to get the fight down, and then we blew it up. (yes, with 2 Bards even :P)

Hell you can even make a Party Finder explicitly stating that it would be a learning party and not to expect clears on the first run. I think the Party Finder combined with Free Companies and Linkshells is more than enough for the purposes of learning new content.
Though i think we could do with a central FC or Linkshell Directory ingame so we can find ones that suit us.
