This is not a "tech" issue, it's a "in-game bug"I've been away for almost 2 years so I couldn't play and now finally, I have time to play, but when I tried to use my old 1.0 character. I was able to update my name and appearance like I was suppose to and I selected Archer as my main class. When I entered the game for some unknown reason I ended up as a pugilist in Ul'dah and not an archer in Gridania like I should have. All I want to know is if it's possible for you to reset my class/starting city or change it to Archer/Gridania like it was suppose to be.
Even reloading the saved data from prior to my login on Monday July 13th would be fine. I have not done anything in-game as soon as I was able to log out I did. I don't think I even moved from the initial point I started at after you gain control of your character. I really don't want to start over since I will lose my Gil and items some of which I don't believe exist anymore.
I've tried contacting the GM's by email which resulted in them telling me to contact support which told me to contact chat support who told me that they can't fix any in-game issues. I'm literally on my 5th attempt to get this resolved. So hopefully I've finally found the correct place to fix my issue. If it isn't could someone please tell me who I have to contact to get this fixed.
Thank You For Your Time,
Enigmatic
And It likely happened to people on certain servers. I don't recall if it happened to me, but the starter quests are pretty much identical between the three, so it's of no important loss.
