Help with server choosing :)

Hello there, I am currently finishing my 14 day trial time and will be definitely buying the game. However I am having a really hard time finding a server with a community (even if its small) that fits my playtime. I'm EU (GMT+1), but work at nights and play during morning/daytime, wich means Im at work during EU peak time. If anyone could point me a server, or a server that has a community that fits my morning/daytime (around 9am - 5pm) playtime I would be very grateful

If my time zone calculations are right, your play time may correspond better with the Austrailians' and New Zealanders' peak time than EU peak time. So have you considered Tonberry or Behemoth? I've heard those have a lot of Oceanic players.

(They're JP servers, so I'm not sure how your ping would be. And while they're said to have a sizeable English speaking population, I'm sure there's still more Japanese speaking players there. But they may be worth considering if their peak time matches your usual play time.)

1. I think that some people will offer you NA servers, which makes sense but this year we are finally getting EU situated dataservers and you would miss the great latency improvement plus probably many people from EU will move to EU servers.
2. I would offer you Ragnarok, for one simple reason. It is one of the biggest EU servers, so even at 9am - 5pm you can find many parties. For example I have recently done my weekly farm of Alexander at 3 PM or farmed Levi extreme for glamours at 11 AM. We also have many hunt linkshells here, with some glamour and pvp farm linkshells.

I do not know what is the situation on other servers so I would definitely suggest waiting for answers from other people.

Well I can now narrow down the server search a lot more! Tonberry and Behemot do seem like the best bet, since their peak time matches my playtime. I'll have to see about that ping tho. Luckly I could make a character on Behemot yesterday really late at night (no luck on Tonberry), so I'll check it .
If Ragnarok really does have a good activity during those times, then I guess it's also a good bet, but I'm worried If I want to do end content in the future there won't be any FC's raiding at that time.
I'll do a bit of research on those 3 and decide from there
