Grand Company Promotion

The serpent personnel officer says I must complete rank 1 in the grand company objective of my hunting logs to receive my next promotion. I'm capped at 25000 seals.

My hunting logs say:
Rank 1 10/10
Rank 2 10/10
Rank 3 1/10

Why can't I get promoted?

Sounds like you realize there are many hunting logs but just incase did you check the log that has the GC flag? Each class gets their own log and the GC as well, It kind of hides there until you unlock a bunch of classes and then see it grow into a big list. http://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wi...er_Hunting_Log .

Are you actually clicking on the Grand Company Hunting Log and not just looking at your class Hunting Log (by clicking on the flag of your Grand Company in the Hunting Log list?). Many get confused by this thinking it's the same Hunting Log required but it's not, they're completely separate and easily missed.

Thanks for the help. As you pointed out I was doing my class hunting and not my grand company hunting. I didn't realize there were two types of hunts. I don't think I would have figured that out on my own.
