Please add STR to Fending accessories

Without the WAR debuffs? When they're tanking different bosses? Or to be more specific, is you PLD friend easily doing 700+ dps?



So in say fights like A1N, Ex.Bismarck where they are tanking different targets, you would still take a PLD for the sake of faster LB charge? Or would you give up the LB charge and just get the raw dps from 2 WARs?

I'm just trying to make sense of your general statement that you prefer a tank that has the dps. Is it supposed to mean "PLD with damage over PLD without damage", and "WAR with damage over WAR without damage", or is it supposed to mean the tanking job that does the highest damage in any given patch?

Because we all know, as Yoshi-P acknowledge officially in the Live Letter, that PLD is tuned to have lower dps. So if a PLD is doing the same as a WAR, maybe that WAR isn't performing at his full potential?

I never said I'd always take two WARs. I simply gave you a scenario where taking two WARs is a bad idea.

Choice of accessories and stat allocation is a significantly bigger stat difference than choice of job. It's easier to have someone in your static simply swap accessories as needed, than to have them gear up both tanks or have two different tanks in a progression static that we swap out depending on the fight. (considering the esoterics set will likely be the AF2, meaning PLD /WAR/DRK sets are separate)
