Cartoony art style, hell no we won't go

I can see where the thread starter is going with this and I wholeheartedly agree.

While the gear and weapons should look functional I don't want it to copy realism to a tee. This is a video game, a fantasy one at that. It is alright to take liberties with design so as long as it fits the FF14 style.

Most importantly, I'd like to see a good use of color. Color can make or break an image, a sculpture, even a game. However, properly used color can enrich it.

Remember SE, brown and gray does not equal real.

Maybe if they actually got payed a montly fee, closed the forum we might get some real stuff like other mmo's?
The Dev Team & Yoshi-P certainly earned it, they turned the game around from utter crap to playeable now.

Closing the forum is the absolutely worst idea I've ever heard. What got SE into this mess is the lack of communication with the player base. If anything they need to increase the amount of communication.

For once the game gets items that aren't a reskin of previous ones and this is how people react. Next time they just going to recolor old stuff as they usually do and slap rank 50 on it. I swear every time I read these forums more of my brain cells die than if I poured acid on my naked brain.

I gear ya Cichy. I understand that some ppl want this game to succeed and want to share their opinions.
But ppl are getting so Emo and moody over the most trivial if things.

To be honest it is like some members claim that there is a problem with everything just so they can say " See I told you so, they changed it, because of my recommendation!"
