Go look it up bro Real 2-handed swords not replica;'s are about 5Ibl'sWhatcha smokin' over there, I'm holding onto a bastard sword right now (that I own from being a trained combatant in this weapon style) and it weighs at least 8-10lbs, and my Sensei, Master, Maestro, what ever you want to name him, has one (that he uses to teach the style that weighs around 15lbs and its a monster, and its historically proportionate to the weapons of that time period)
That being said yes bigger does not always equal heavier, as a big balloon isn't as heavy as a big bowling ball (this is known fact) but if you take a dense horn and put it on a bow it will feel heavier, also the fact that the bow looks "top heavy" makes it seem like it should be even more cumbersome to wield than if the big part was on the bottom of the bow.
