Fishing Drop Rate Increase - Three Titanic Sawfish In a Row

I took a break from fishing a while, after Kuno the Killer completely broke my spirits. Today, I was fishing for Silver Sharks for a friend, and I caught a Titanic Sawfish. 'What luck,' I thought. 'Mucho Gil for me!'

And then I caught another one on my next cast.

And then several cast later, a third.

I thought perhaps the drop rate had increased to a ridiculous level, but I checked the market board, and they're still worth a ton (450k on balmung).

Did they increase the drop rate on Titanic Sawfish/other two star fish? Or did I just use up the next 3 years of RNG luck I was owed?

Probably this. I went months sending my fisher retainer on ventures to get Fat Cat. When she finally brought one back, of course I was very happy, but she also got me two more in the next two weeks or thereabouts.

I fished up to 1000 trying to get the sailfish with no luck last year and I took a break from the game. Came back a couple weeks ago and have fished for it up to 500 more times, at least 1500 times trying to get this dam fish..... I'm not uber skilled but with food I have 275/220 fish skill and I'm aware of the clear/mostly clear skies. I fish between 6am and 6pm just to make sure. Sometimes I'll have 5 or 6 hq gobys in a row, sometimes 2 or 3 hq's gobys PER DAY... This thing is driving me nuts lol.

@op, just your luck

Took me 2 game days yesterday, with bluescript gear & lucius to get it finally. Its lots easier get neptodragon, barreleye and bunch other sneaky fish than this one.
Still with patience & patience2 that goby almost never HQ, and when it does got good HQ silver shark. >.<
