Petition Against Ifrit Weapon Designs

worst thing about FFXIV.. people that make threads like these -_-;;

if you don't like it, don't use it. I'm sure you'll be able to make something with materia that would probably be better than the set-stat weapons you'll receive from Ifrit. Did we really need half naked cat women running around in bikinis? No, but that's what we got and I'd say THAT is more out of place than some godly looking weapons we get from a fire Primal that happen to light up like embers. I guess we should just say good bye to En- spells because the effect will more than likely look something like those weapons.

And if this isn't art, please design something yourself and send it to SE for consideration.

Just for future reference if you like someones idea or what they said you should press the like button, yoshi-p said they pretty much look at likes when they read through posts, and they do read the English forums. If they read through every post sometimes those against or for will post and sound like they have stronger opinions, but if they no likes Yoshi judges that as no one really agrees with them

People can complain all they want about this but nobody cares. The ideas they have for how the game will look post ishgard will be more "fantasy" like. Just look at Garlean empire designs.

I agree with that... This is final fantasy and they come out with Korean style weapon...
It's like Putting two different cartoon in one anime... Pokemon and hmmm Dumb and dumber
Or The Simpson and Naruto in the same anime...

Besides that the thaum weapon look like a flashing dildo while the Pug weapon look like 2 Nipple ring that are in fire. i have more to say about the other weapon design but lets just put it this way... The weapon design has nothing similar to any Final fantasy weapon design created in the past.

This is why the game is this s#!t and only a minimal group of trolls use this forum...anyone who express opposite opinion is bashed. He has the right of not liking those weapons AND the right to add a petition here for changing it. Being here means he bought the game and is active there so you guys should respect it.

@Kyra, Contribute or leave please? SE needs to see this thread, if you oppose state your case and discuss. If your all discussed out, talk about other posts. Be mature about this.

RegaDosei i wouldn't call Garleans too fantasy. They are a mix of modern and midevil, absolutely beautiful judges. They add such a dimension to the game. Without them the game would be bland. Some people don't realize that Judges come from Invalice (Tactics and FFXII world) which is the world the game is set in. Its an offshoot. So with that in mind everything has to fit that universe primarily.
