Whichever song Noubo Uematsu does, makes my body chill all around, something that VERY FEW ARTISTS do.
I really admire Noubo and his musician skills, I hope he'll keep on going with some other games.

I have a feeling that Uematsu did the original tracks for XIV but some of the newer stuff (like the Grand Company themes) isn't him.

It wasn't composed by Uematsu, Takahito Eguchi and Noriko Matsuda composed FFX-2's OST (FFX was the last FF Uematsu composed for *with the help of Jun Nakano and Masashi Hamazau* before going freelance)

Nobuo Uematsu is my absolute favorite composer. Even if his music had never had anything to do with Final Fantasy, he has the amazing talent to drive emotions through his music. I personally rate him far above any other composer I've heard in the past few decades.
