The Nobuo Uematsu Appreciation Thread

I would like to give thanks to Nobuo Uematsu, the amazing composer for the Final Fantasy games. Your music has been a great inspiration to me through the years, your latest compositions for Final Fantasy XIV are as amazing as every FF soundtrack you've created through the years.

Thank you for Prologue (FFXIV Version), a tune that instantly had me brimming over with tears of joy.

Thank you for Memory Of Lightwaves, a tune that helps me quieten the noise inside my head every day. (EDIT: It's not Uematsu's work but I'm gonna mention it anyways )

Thank you for To Zanarkand, I hope to one day be able to play this beautifull piece on a piano to the one I love.

Thank you for Aerith's Theme, a tune that even now, 14 years after first hearing it, still breaks my heart and makes me cry, no other tune has ever felt so emotional.

Thank you for One-Winged Angel, a tune that truly depicts the eternal struggle between good and evil.

Thank you for Tera's Theme, a tune I feel truly depicts the constant turmoil of humanity, with it's highs and lows.

Thank you for Descendant Of The Shinobi, a tune that still makes me feel like that little kid with a control pad in hand, giggling like an idiot whilst trying to answer those silly questions

Thank you for Mods De Chocobo, it'll always be my favorite Chocobo theme, and the one tune guaranteed to cheer me up whenever I feel sad.

Thank you for Eyes On Me, I will still loudly sing along to this tune without a care in the world.

Thank you for Melodies Of Life, I'll never forget the days I've spent in the sunlight, dancing along to this with no fear of what people think of me.

And finally, thank you for Interrupted By Fireworks, a tune that will forever lift my spirit and give me confidence, no matter what life throws at me.

Thank you Nobou Uematsu for the beautiful music you've made for all of us, and I hope we all get to continue to hear your compositions for years to come.

(Also if one of the reps could pass this on to him somehow I would be eternally gratefull ^.^)

Did he do XIV's music? XIII and XIV have some terrible music in them. I listen to other game soundtracks when I want to listen to instrumentals in XIV.

He only made the opening theme to XII and didn't do the music to XIII, at least, that's what wikipedia tells me:

Nobuo composed the entire XIV soundtrack. Not a single song on XIII, tho.
