    they never commited to this. they said they want the stats to be easier to figure out, the developers never mentioned the effect of dlvel in anything i remember at all. If i missed that post, i apologize and ask that you kindly link it to me. But i never saw that mentioned.

    I'm very much hoping that it isn't altered in such a way that I need to carry a magician in my pocket in order to get something done.

    Nope, just carry some potions and you'll be fine. One thing XIV has over XI is that they finally made potion healing and prices make sense. Not to mention you can buy them with seals too. I'm just glad that stats will actually matter now, along with making various equipment much more useful than before.

    Are they removing slot cost with this patch too?

    I did hear somethinjg about that. Can't remember what it was though.

    I hope so, I hate trying to pick between bangles and rings, and my PUG needs all the evasion she can get.

    They did say they were going to remove the slot cost, but also reduce the number of accessories to balance it out. I don't think it was 1.9
    Also are the stats not suppose to be only temporarily automated? I thought that at 1.20 they make it so you assign points for every class and it remembers the points and your actions...

    Yup I do believe that's correct.

    I'd imagine 1.20 is also when it'll remember our action bars per-class too so we won't have to keep re-assigning them when we switch from one thing to another.

    I forget the exact quote but the impression i got, is they were going to take it away, then add a function that allows you to alter it somewhat. Essentially i think you will never have full allocation again. I could have misread it though. Also i dont rem when they said they were putting it back, i think its to be determined.

    That's pretty much the long and short of it rau.

    Right now physical stats have to be as bland and impotent as they are due to the physical level. With its removal they were free to make the points count. Now I do expect there to be some sticker shock come the update when at l50 our stats are lower then we are use to seeing. But hey those threads should be comical to read.
