I want a hybrid race like Hilda's (half elezen, half hyur). Could we get this SE ?

The race would use Hyur midlander's body, maybe even the same faces, with elf ears. We've already got gear in game to suit both. Seems like it would be pretty easy to implement!

I don't think there would be a need to make hybrids for all races. It may not even be possible for some. Hopefully not Lalas and Roes >_>

Hilda's existence proves it's possible for an elezen and hyur though. If SE decides to include other hybrid races in the future, then they could offer playable versions of those too. Hybrids seem like they could be easy to implement overall though vs completely new races

I believe it was in the poll, and it was actually a contender for the top 3. There is a possibility of something like a half-Elezen being added in as a new Hyur clan in a later patch/expansion which would be cool. I highly doubt though that it will get it's own race slot since it's just a Hyur with modified ears. I don't think any other mixes of races will get it though since there's no precedent currently in the game for it, but who knows?

acording to the lore (from 1.0 by fern whirls) a child being born from a mixed union of two races would tend to be majorly frowned as well as rare (adoption is good tho) upon and they would 9/10 follow the mothers race. in the case of half breeds they are dispised and hated and extremely rare.

The curved horns and beautifully patterned scales that characterize the Au Ra oft give rise to speculation that this Hyur-like race native to the Far Eastern continent of Othard are, in fact, the progeny of dragons. This, however, has long been disputed, with scholars citing several distinct differences in the two races as evidence of decidedly dissimilar roots—the first and foremost being the enhanced hearing and spatial recognition granted by an Au Ra's cranial projections (traits not attributed to draconian horns), and the second being the gross disproportion of body mass between Auri males and females (again, a trait widely unseen in dragons).

@OP - Honestly I'd rather see half-breeds stay as NPC's. It keeps them unique.
