SE, Please do somthing about the boring gear stats.. Please just read first...

Agree with OP. Often MMORPGs have multiple gear sets to work towards for. One has better resistances while one has better dps etc... Here it feels always same, now i got these dungeon leg drops and they have + 2 mind/determination more than my old ones. WUHUUU!

I would like something along those lines too, even as people will look for bis. Maybe a way to turn our gear aetherial via soulbinding, to bring in certain boosts not found originally? Right now soulbinding has no purpose in gear that can't be converted, what if we could make new aetherial gear through that?

Yeah, but if Yoshi P. and his men already looked at FF11 and WOW then they know it failed for reasons and that is why to this day they don't have such systems.

So...FFXI has been going since 2002...has maintained a healthy number of subs the whole time...but it failed?

WoW has been going since 2004 and still maintains an exceptionally large number of subs...but it failed?

I guess I'm missing your logic here...what failed exactly?
