Tataru is special?

This occurs when you 1st get into Ishgard and the manservant asks you, Tataru and Alphinaud to attune to the main Aetherite crystal.

When speaking to her she says this:


Not sure what this might mean, but it seems as if they're building Tataru up for something and that this is just one of many foreshadowing. Not sure about other languages, but her comment makes it seem the tingling sensation is common for her and not just due to attuning to that specific aetherite.

Who knows, maybe she'll be able to use her tingling sensation as a way to help find the missing Scions of whom she's given them those magical pearls.

I always try to speak with npcs for lore purposes, especially in between important scenes since their dialogue changes, but this one seems to be the most mysterious and very easy to skip over.

I'm pretty sure it's an innocuous "magic tingles" thing. Tataru doesn't use much magic or field experience, so attuning to a new aetheryte would naturally feel a little weird to her. Conversely we've endured God knows how much punishment, both physical and magical, so it's not weird to us at all.

I've worn glasses every waking moment for 15 years so I dont get that sensation. I do ocationally try to take my glasses off when Im not wearing them though. lol
