When are more housing plots coming?

Yoshi-P has stated a few times before that they were working to expand upon the current houses that are already bought rather than add in more housing. Considering that they have never added anymore spaces inside the houses but flooded us with furniture, it's definitely an update I look forward to.

They did mention something about Ishgard housing but they also noted that it wouldn't be out before they found a way for people who had a house to basically be able to move to Ishgard without selling/abandoning their houses (and having to buy them again).

With respect, that does nothing but piss off those without a house even more. Less than 1% of all players in the game can own a house because there are so few plots available. So expanding those houses already purchased is just insulting to everyone else waiting for more plots.

Some housing system this is. It EXCLUDES the vast majority of players from it. I know that probably no one intends this, but every time this is discussed, those with personal houses generally come across as smug, as in talking about expansions of the home they already have while 99% of the population can't even buy one because there are no plots available.

With respect to me? To who? All I said was that SE was going to focus on enhancing the current houses rather than adding new ones. Because my FC has a house (got it when there were only FC housing), I mentioned that I was happy about that since SE hasn't done anything with regards to our issues with housing for ages. So I'm sorry that my statement pissed off people without houses.

But here's the thing, housing comes down to two sides. One without houses and those with. Both sides have their issues. One side doesn't have a house and SE has been recently more catered to that side in terms of adding houses. On the other side, there's the ones who DO have houses. People were complaining for ages now about how little decorating space the houses provided for sometimes 50 mil a house...but SE has been busy with adding houses instead. Leaving the other side to rot or giving us things like retainers on the lawn that just take away more space.

I'm sorry that I came off as smug for getting to enjoy an update for housing that actually is catered towards my side of the situation. I'm sorry that anyone with a house can't come into a thread like this and lay down a fact without people going into an uproar.

Housing in general in this game is whack. Inventory space is also whack. It's all sharing the same issues in that there's not enough space for what they want to do. Both sides of this issue have a say on it though. Having a house doesn't make housing in general more awesome. Having a house comes with a different set of complaints compared to your issues. But even in threads where people complain about how limited the houses are, there's always some homeless person coming into it and saying that we have no right to complain because we at least have one.

So if we come into these threads and somehow come off smug, naturally it has to be said that you come off as whiny. I didn't come in here smug. I came in here with facts and some optimism that when they got done with what our side wanted, they would go back to the expansion/addition of wards.

Like it or not, the same issue that's affecting me is affecting you in another way. They can't easily expand my house. They can't easily expand the ward to make yours.

Ps. I still approve of the fact that SE should have made it so that a month of not signing in should relinquish the plots. There are at least four houses near mine that are sitting practically empty since when I bought mine a year ago.

You are ignoring what I said about what comes after that update. That after they expand upon the current space for the current housing, they are looking into the Ishgard ward. That's more housing. So even though people will uproot their houses and move them to Ishgard (as SE has said they want to implement), that means that whoever didn't want to move that's a space in Ishgard. And whoever did move, that's a plot in an old ward.

Oh yes, two groups. Haves and have nots. I'm not even going to give the rest of your reply the dignity of a response. The entitlement of theHaves is of no interest to the have nots. It's a good illustration of the 1% vs everyone else though.
