Thx for the info realy appreciate. But still unable to do a few things like craft and airship or change chocobo color. or use any of the thousands of furniture i have stacked up.There was no housing implemented yet when FFXIV started out and FCs were still formed. A free company isn't "pointless" without a house, it's only pointless for those who want to make an FC just to get a house (individual players can buy houses btw, it's not just an FC thing).
Also, Thavnairian onions can be used in the field, it does not require a chocobo stable (this was updated in one of the pre-3.0 patches) so yes, you can push your Bo past 10.
It's a terrible feeling. It doesn't get any better.
Please get used to feeling this way.
Actually, in the live letter, they said the reason you can't mount up is because there was an issue and they didn't have time to fix it. Idyllshire and Hinterlands were suppose to be one whole area, but it was too much of an overload on the server. Therefore, a last minute decision was that they would split it. They already said they plan on fixing it by letting you mount up.Nyonmyan's post HAHAAHA epic
But really im expecting at least one more City to open up Housing. Ishgard. All main cities SO FAR have areas for housing, so following that logic Ishgard should be opening up housing in the near future.
The Other city that MIGHT have housing is Idyllshire, Eventually once its fixed up( another hint that Idyllshire will become a city is that you cant mount up in Idyllshire just like in any other big City)
Basically Idyllshire was suppose to look like Mor Dhona but it was too large.
I believe they announced that more housing instances were coming prior to 3.1. I can't find the link though.
