Please, oh please for the love of gods and the sake of your tank's nerves, remove Fluid Aura from your actions bar. Or if you don't want to, at least learn when it's relevant to use it.

I just literaly rage-quitted a DF because of a one-more WHM who did use it almost on cooldown, for absolutely no reason at all. I warned him, but he didn't stop. Yeah I know, this is bad to quit a DF but seriously, f*** off Fluid Aura users.

When your tank stabilize threat and placement, even more if the mobs do large aoe, you godamn have absolutely ZERO reason to Fluid Fuc*** Aura Sh** seriouslyomfgffsiamsomadcopter. It just pisses your tank off, eventually. Like me. Even more when it happens almost every time this tank joins a DF with a WHM in. Yeah, really.

That said, I love you healers. But not everytime.

Edit : also I forgot to mention, but it also annoys melee damage dealers.

Your problem isn't with Fluid Aura, it's with troll White Mages (and Machinists).

Fluid Aura is free dps and, when used right, cast time interuptor.

Only time I have to use Fluid Aura is in low level dungeons. Even then I use it as a return to sender so tanks don't have to chase the odd mob around.

This is the only reason why, in my opinion, it's legit to use Fluid Aura in this particular situation.

For cast interupt, well this is more debatable, since as a PLD, I consider this is one of my own job.

Believe me or not, this just happened again. And guess what, I'm actually waiting for the 30m penalty. Yeah, scumbag me I know. But as I said, f*** off. I don't have any more patience regarding this. Really.

I tried to warn and even explain many and many times before, the only thing I get in return was a complete "I don't give a sh** lol", "Stop complaining and do your job noob" and such. Only a few times they understood and stopped.

This may not be your case, but some players seem to think that their DF fellows are their farming bots or minions. Sad but true.

i use it only in soloplay for dmg increase, big mobs wich can't get pushed, to shoot ranged mobs to the tank and when i have aggro from a monster and nobody came to grab it.

Pardon me if I don't immediately believe this story. It sounds like outdated talking points from an elitist forum (overeager replies bringing up SMN and MCH give this away).

Unless the WHM is, as someone else brought up, a troll (not entirely outside the realm of possibility lately) you only need to ask them to refrain from using the ability unless they're in some danger from a wayward enemy.

While this is an old gripe, it unfortunately continues to be a thing. Low-level MCHs drive me absolutely insane, however; much more so than any terrible WHM ever has. You don't have to be an elitist to be annoyed when people play badly to the point of it being obstructive.

I use it, but only to interrupt something that cannot be stunned or when tanks just get lazy and don't want to stun something that should be.. by this time, the tank has threat and it just comes running right back.

usualy i only use it to move a mobs towards the tank or to interupt the cast. on big ass mobs also to deal damage.. but than, rarely there are these situations wehere i am thinking: "why the heck can i push back this 20 million tons mountain of a monster?" followed up by a "sumimasen tank-san"

okok and sometimes i just suffer from the fat finger syndrom (in short FFS) as fluid aura is right next to my holy <.<.
